The L-shaped white limestone tomb features bas-reliefs depicting the tomb's occupant seated at an altar. These vibrantly colored bas-reliefs are remarkably well-preserved. Back in April 2019 the discovery of Khuwi's tomb marked a significant archaeological site. Located near the pyramids of Pharaoh Jedkare Ishesi a high-ranking court official whose titles included "Great Man of Upper Egypt" and "Chief Minister" the tomb is situated in the Saqqara necropolis. Archaeologists found Khuwi's mummy and broken canopic jars containing internal organs.
